Terms of Use
OpenHull Sync is a workspace for managing technical vessel reports, media, companies, users, and service-provider collaboration.
Your content, your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of everything you upload. Do not upload passports, identity documents, medical data, crew personal data, other sensitive data, or photos focused on identifiable people.
Account security
Accounts must be used only by authorized users. Keep your credentials secure and tell us if access should be removed or if an account may be compromised.
Ownership of your data
Your data remains yours. You retain all ownership and other rights in reports, files, vessel records, and other content you provide; using OpenHull Sync does not transfer ownership to us. We process your data to provide, secure, and support the service, and apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to help protect it against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
Subject to your company administrator’s setting, we may process data to prepare anonymous datasets. Research and internal analysis use only the resulting effectively anonymized data, which must not reasonably identify a person, customer, company, or vessel; we do not attempt to reidentify anyone. An administrator can disable “Anonymized data use” at any time in Organization settings, applying to future processing.
